FTP Settings

Ok, here's my problem :
I have 2 different FTP hosting websites to use.
But when I enter correctly each FTP settings in MLD
And then I choose to add something like an image
It tells me : ""Connexion to FTP impossible !!!
Verify your settings in preferences (F2)"
I already checked my settings, they are OK
And I'm NOT already connected to the FTP servers so that doesn't seem to be the problem ..

I'll add multiple FTP support in next version

J'ai deux sites de FTP avec le login, mot de passe et tout
Quand j'essaye le premier, ça ne marche pas
Et le deuxième, pareil !
Pourtant les informations que j'ai entrées sont correctes, puisque je peux accéder à mes fichiers via FileZilla (gestionnaire de FTP)
Mais le message d'erreur comme quoi le programme ne peut accéder au serveur s'affiche tout le temps ..

Essaye d'être un peu plus précis. Si ça marche avec filezilla il n'y a aucune raison que cela ne marche pas avec MLD.
Suis cette démarche et dis moi précisément ce qui se passe:
- verifier les paramètres du ftp

sur l'exemple ici une image dans le sous dossier à pour adresse sur le ftp
ftp://monftp.com/manialink/img/monimage.jpg
mais avec cette adresse on ne peut pas l'atteindre sur le web c'est pourquoi il faut bien régler le préfixe pour le web.
Ainsi l'adresse pour le web de l'image est : http://monsite.com/manialink/img/monimage.jpg
(remarque : souvent le login apparait dans le préfixe web exemple pour moi chez numericable :
hôte ftp : ftp://perso.numericable.fr/ et préfixe http://perso.numericable.fr/bibigallaz/ )
- créer un nouveau document
- créer par exemple une image
- appuyer sur le bouton ftp pour sélectionner une image à partir du FTP
- une fenêtre doit apparaître avec le nom de toutes les images du sous dossier image sur ton FTP

i think he tried to put more than one for each präfix so it cant be correct, may he can send us a pic of his präfixes

I'm sorry for the trouble I caused... I changed a setting and everything is working fine now =]

Juste un petit problème... mon préfix ftp est le dossier "public_html" ensuite jai /trackmania/manialink/...
Sauf que sur internet il ne doit pas apparaitre dans les liens car l'intérieur de ce dossier constitue la base de ce qui est accessible par internet ...

En gros il me faut /trackmania/manialink/... directement dans les liens Internet

Pas de problème ! L'essentiel c'est que ça marche maintenant

Je veux dire que ça ne marche pas complètement :


Le programme fait automatiquement http://bapro.offhost.fr/public_html/trackmania/manialink/bapro/
Mais je ne veux pas la partie en gras, car elle fausse tout les liens. (public_html/)
Comment dois-je faire ?

Perhaps Pos X or Size W settings ?

haha no problem but if u wont use rightclick it´s Size W:128 H:96 may bibi can create a forum to show pages that are createt with MLD and merry christmas

Each time you want to create a new page in the manialink, it must be a new manialink linking to your .xml page of choice ?

yep otherwise u could use php^^ than you can display different pages with only one code just adding a ?mp=whatever behind it

Maybe I could use php but it'll be more complicated since MLD generates only xml files ^^

Edit : mmmh, perhaps the export as php can be usefull =D. But how do I proceed with the code afterwards, in notepad ++ for example ?

try this its a simply if cause that displays a page then a parameter (here 'mp' for mainpage) is set to a selected thing (here home):

And why the need to put the link to the XML file on Internet AND the XML code itself ?
On TM, it says "invalid manialink file" .. I updated the link to my homepage with this php script

for each of your pages u do a if() and do e.g. for avatars $mp=="avatars"
to set mp put your mlurl so (i use scorm now), Scorm?mp=avatars
